Statewide Maine Farm & Sea to School Conference Held at The Ecology School

On Friday, July 17, 2026 Over 100 people gathered at in Saco for the Maine Farm & Sea to School Conference.

The Maine Farm & Sea to School Network has hosted this conference since 2015, and this year marked its return after a pause of several years. Attendees came from across Maine and from every part of this work: educators, school nutrition professionals, farmers, fishermen, ECE providers, students, and advocates. The day was built around networking, hands-on workshops, and peer-to-peer learning.

Thank you

Thank you to The Ecology School, to all of the presenters, facilitators, workshop leaders, volunteers who helped run the day, and to all 120 people who joined us in July. We are grateful for the work you do across Maine, and we look forward to seeing you at the next conference!

This event was made possible with support from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Patrick Leahy Farm to School Grant Program, Maine Community Foundation, Full Plates Full Potential, The Department of Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry, and the CDC funded Healthy Kids, Healthy Future Technical Assistance Program, led by Nemours Children’s Health.
