ABOUT
The Maine Farm and Sea to Institution Summit builds on the history of the network’s Farm to School Conference, which has been held since 2015. This biennial event expands the network’s reach beyond K–12 schools to include healthcare, higher education, correctional facilities, and other food-serving institutions, with a focus on local procurement strategies and strengthening relationships between farm to institution stakeholders. The inaugural Maine Farm to Institution Summit was held at UMaine's Hutchinson Center in 2018.
