Connect with your Regional Local Foods Coordinator

The Regional Local Foods Project (RLFP), led by the Maine Department of Education Child Nutrition, helps connect schools and local food producers across the state. Regional Local Food Coordinators (RLFCs) serve as regional points of contact to support Farm to School efforts, making it easier for schools to source local foods and for farmers, fishermen, and food producers to access school markets.

Coordinators can assist with building relationships, navigating procurement, identifying local food options, and sharing resources and best practices. Whether you're a school looking to expand your local purchasing or a producer interested in working with schools, RLFP coordinators are here to help.

We encourage you to connect with your regional coordinator to learn more and get started.
