The Maine Farm & Sea to School Network is thrilled to share that Governor Janet Mills has officially issued a gubernatorial proclamation recognizing October as Farm & Sea to School Month in Maine!
This proclamation, made in partnership with the Maine Farm & Sea to School Network, is a statewide recognition of the critical role that Farm and Sea to School programs play in improving our state, including promoting student health, increasing access to nutritious food, and strengthening Maine’s local food economy.
